Direct marketing
New Resident Packets - Members are encouraged to drop off marketing literature and small promotional items for inclusion in Chamber Ambassador-delivered packages to New Haven's newest residents. When you consider that New Haven could see its population grow by as much as 20-25% in the next year, this is a tremendous free service!
New Member Packets - Same program, but emphasizing the business-to-business marketing approach over business-to-consumer as Chamber Ambassadors make that first "welcome visit" to new Chamber members. Members are encouraged to tailor their marketing materials to the two different audiences.
Membership savings programs
Health Insurance/Physicians Health Plans - Chamber member businesses with between 2 and 26 employees receive a 5% discount against their regular PHP rates
Office Supplies and Furniture/Office Depot - Chamber members are eligible to enroll in a free, members-only program offering monthly account billing, free next-day delivery, and discounts of 6 to 55 percent - whether you purchase in a Fort Wayne-area store, via the phone or over the Internet.
New Haven Chamber Employee Assistance Program/William C. Weber & Associates - Once available to only the largest businesses, all Chamber members are eligible to sign up for this inexpensive, productivity-boosting short-term counseling and referral program. In addition, the Weber team will offer periodic management training sessions for participating member companies.
Community leadership
Education Committee - Develop meaningful partnerships with New Haven community schools and other schools in the East Allen Community School Corporation, support local Career Major Academies and help organize and execute career fairs for local students.
New Haven State of the City Address - Combining networking and leadership, The Chamber is proud to co-host the State of the City with the New Haven Mayor's Office at an annual dinner gathering.
